Text the Net

I already have internet access on my phone. Why does this matter?

Over 5 billion people are connected to a mobile network, but only about 4 billion are actually connected to the Internet. TextTheNet aims to bridge the gap for those 1 billion mobile users and empower them with access to the vast swaths of information on the Internet.

What can I do with this?

Currently, we've implemented 4 functions:

• SEARCH <thing>: Replies with a short snippet of your search query
• IMAGE <thing>: Replies with the first image result of your search query
• SUMMARY <link>: Replies with a summary of the article at the link you sent
• BROWSE <link>: Replies with a snapshot of the webpage at the link you sent

Why doesn't this work any more?

Since this is/was a hackathon project (nwHacks 2019), I've been given a limited amount of free credits to make this thing work.
